Conference Testimonials

-Attending my first conference in 2005 was great for me, mainly because I was new to the state and needed to connect with others in my field. An added benefit was the friendship and support I have received from my colleagues in KABHE. I have been an active member since my first meeting! The KABHE State Conference has always been on the pulse of what is affecting Higher Education on a local, state and national level. I consider this conference a key component of my professional development

-I attended the conference last year. As a graduate student I did not expect there to be much at the conference for me. However, I was able to build some valuable networks at the conference and the sessions were inspiring and informative. I am now working in higher education. Thanks in part to my participation at the conference I learned about employment opportunities for young professionals.

- I always look forward to the KABHE State Conference. I connect, network and learn about what is important to me as a faculty member. This is a must conference for anyone who wants to stay on top of what is important relative to Higher Education in Kentucky, particularly as it relates to African Americans.
