Kentucky Association of Blacks in Higher Education

KABHE Annual Conference Sponsorship

Dear KABHE Conference Sponsor,

The Kentucky Association of Blacks in Higher Education (KABHE), was founded by Dr. William Parker, the late Vice-Chancellor of Minority Affairs at the University of Kentucky, and other minority leaders in the Commonwealth in 1983. The purpose of the organization is to promote the advancement of Blacks in Higher Education in Kentucky by articulating needs and concerns, promoting unity, cooperation and awareness, and enhancing the personal and professional growth of its members. In that vein, KABHE has held an annual conference where pertinent educational issues are discussed and solutions are explored.

We invite you to become a KABHE Partner, sponsoring the 35th Annual Conference. This year’s conference will be held March 30-April 1, 2017 in Berea, KY. The conference planning committee is busy preparing for an informative and engaging conference with keynote speakers and concurrent sessions. It is our hope that both professionals and students will return to their campuses armed with the knowledge and a plan of action. Our concurrent session tracks include, but are not limited to Academic Affairs, Student Life, Student Affairs and Retention Services, and a Student Leadership Track for secondary and post-secondary students.

Making a conference of this magnitude a success requires great time and effort, and one of those key elements to its success is you. We are writing to request your support as a sponsor for this wonderful conference. Your sponsorship donations will enable us to offer a spectacular experience. Your organization receives a comprehensive benefits and recognition package depending upon your sponsorship level.

This conference promises to be the most spectacular academic event of the year and we want to offer the opportunity to get involved. There are many ways to partner with KABHE to promote your business/school, from simply donating products to sponsoring a special event. You will  find a listing of sponsorship levels, as well as individual events/programs that you may wish to sponsor. We certainly recognize the current fiscal state of affairs and we promise your donation will certainly guarantee a return on your investment. We are extremely appreciative of any support you can provide. Should you have questions regarding the request, please contact Ms. Ashley Offutt, Conference Co-Chair.

We have seen and experienced the positive impact this organization has made in professional pursuits as well as to those in the membership. It is our ultimate goal is to continue embracing our community of educators and leaders by encouraging professional development opportunities, establish and strengthen connections with educators and leaders, and to foster and facilitate important discussion on the issues, concerns, and opportunities that impact us all. On behalf of the membership of Kentucky Association of Blacks in Higher Education, we welcome you to join us at the conference, and to be motivated by one of the finest conferences and organizations in the state.

Sincerely,

Sponsorship Committee
